City of Beverly Hills to Begin New Daytime Street Sweeping Schedule

Beverly Hills, CA (January 19, 2021)– In an effort to improve its street sweeping services, the City of Beverly Hills will begin phasing-in a new daytime schedule beginning February 1, 2021 that will impact residential streets in the City.

Since August, the City has resumed its street cleaning services and its new daytime schedule will help improve service efficiency through the installation of clear, visible signage and the new hours will minimize disturbances that were a result of nighttime services. Street cleaning will be performed Monday through Thursday and times vary between the hours of 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. depending on the day and street.

Phase 1A will begin with the region located south of Wilshire Boulevard to Olympic Boulevard between Moreno Dr. and El Camino Dr. This first phase will serve as a pilot before widespread implementation takes place over the course of the next few months. All impacted residents will be notified by mail regarding the new schedule changes.

A street sweeping Town Hall Meeting will be held on April 7, 2021 at 6 p.m. For meeting log-in information and to view a map of Phase 1A, visit beverlyhills.org/streetsweeping. Questions can also be directed to the Beverly Hills Public Works Customer Service Department at (310) 285-2467 or via email at AskPW@beverlyhills.org.
